Leave uncomfortable jaw pain, stiffness, or clicking behind with personalized physical therapy from our expert team.
Temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) are a group of painful conditions impacting the temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and surrounding muscles associated with your jaw. Physical therapy exercises can decrease TMJ pain while simultaneously bringing balance and fluidity to the joint. Placing your tongue on the roof of your mouth while gently opening and closing your jaw, for example, can reduce stiffness and provide relief.
Our highly skilled therapy team can reduce your direct TMD symptoms and address associated neck and postural issues. Throughout your sessions, we’ll help you establish realistic health goals, empower you to proactively care for your body, and create a treatment plan unique to your symptoms to overcome your pain and restore your full function and movement. We also communicate with your provider in the dental and/or orthodontic community.
