While in clinic, the resident spends time under direct mentorship of existing OCS physical therapists whom aid in shaping and helping the resident grow as a therapist. Upon completion of the residency, the therapist is then eligible to take the board exam to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Health In Motion remains committed to advancing the physical therapy profession while providing outstanding care to our patients, and this is no exception. The residency provides an opportunity for our therapists to remain on the cutting edge in our knowledge base, while helping to produce physical therapists that excel professionally. A physical therapist must first be employed by Health In Motion prior to enrolling in an affiliated orthopedic physical therapy residency.
