Your shoulders are the most mobile and one of the most potentially unstable joints in the body. According to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, approximately 6 million people seek help for shoulder pain each year. Shoulder pain may be localized or felt in areas around the shoulder and down the arm.
Causes can be age-related, overuse, strain, repetitive motion, improper technique during activity or sports, injury or heredity. Most shoulder problems involve soft tissues, muscles, ligaments and tendons. Our goal is to decrease pain and improve function.
